Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy – Pinnacle Construction

At Pinnacle Construction, we strive to provide quality products and excellent service. By placing an order with Pinnacle Construction, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms set out in this policy.

1. Return Requests

Customers may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving their order.

All approved returns that are not due to a supplier or manufacturer defect will be subject to a 30% handling and restocking fee.

The handling fee covers administration, order processing, stock handling, packaging, procurement, payment processing fees, and associated operational costs.

Approval of a return remains at the sole discretion of Pinnacle Construction.

2. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for consideration, products must:

  • Be unused and uninstalled.

  • Be in their original packaging.

  • Be in a resalable condition.

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • Be returned within the specified return period.

Pinnacle Construction reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these requirements.

3. Non-Returnable Products

The following products may not be returned or refunded unless required by applicable law:

  • Special-order products.

  • Custom-manufactured products.

  • Custom-cut products.

  • Tinted products.

  • Products ordered specifically for a customer.

  • Clearance, promotional, sale, or discontinued products.

  • Products that have been opened, used, installed, mixed, altered, or damaged after delivery.

  • Products returned without original packaging.

  • Products returned after the 7-day return period.

4. No Exchanges

Pinnacle Construction does not offer exchanges on any products.

Customers wishing to purchase alternative products must place a new order.

5. Delivery and Collection Charges

Delivery, courier, transport, collection, handling, and administration charges are non-refundable.

Where products are approved for return, the customer shall be responsible for all costs associated with returning the goods to Pinnacle Construction unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Incorrect Orders by Customers

Customers are responsible for ensuring that product specifications, quantities, colours, sizes, and suitability are correct before placing an order.

Pinnacle Construction shall not be liable for products ordered incorrectly by the customer.

Approved returns for incorrectly ordered products remain subject to the 30% handling and restocking fee.

7. Product Suitability

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended use.

Pinnacle Construction shall not be liable for losses, damages, labour costs, installation costs, project delays, consequential damages, or any costs arising from the use or misuse of products supplied.

8. Damaged or Defective Products

Customers must inspect products upon delivery or collection.

Any shortages, damages, defects, or discrepancies must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt.

Defective product claims may require inspection, testing, photographs, return of samples, or assessment by the manufacturer or supplier before a claim is approved.

Pinnacle Construction reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund defective products in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Refunds may take up to 14 business days to reflect depending on banking institutions and payment providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinnacle Construction's liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the product supplied.

Pinnacle Construction shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic losses arising from the purchase, delivery, installation, storage, or use of any product.
