How to Use Sikadur®-31 DW – Full Guide
1. Surface Preparation
Clean the bonding surfaces to remove oil, grease, dust, and loose material. Concrete should be sound and slightly roughened. The surface can be damp but must be free of standing water.
2. Mixing Components
Sikadur®-31 DW comes in a pre-measured kit. Mix Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) using a spatula or mechanical mixer until the blend is smooth and uniform in color.
3. Application
Apply the mixed product directly to both surfaces using a spatula or trowel. For structural bonding, press parts together under pressure if needed.
4. Curing
At 20°C, Sikadur®-31 DW begins curing immediately and is fully cured within 24–48 hours. Protect the applied adhesive from moisture during the curing process.
5. Cleanup
Clean tools with a suitable solvent before the adhesive sets.
